It’s an out and back route starting in Banfield Park, behind Vic West Community Centre. It goes along the beautiful Galloping Goose Trail to Culduthel Road, crossing the scenic Selkirk Trestle twice and finishing in Banfield Park. We will be sharing the trail with cyclists and our community; so, please be courteous and share your Shuffling cheer.

Collecting Pledges - Focus on $50
Shufflers, when you collect pledges for the Santa Shuffle on December 2, see how far The Salvation Army can stretch the donations you collect.
|$4||Provides a nutritious meal for a person in need.|
|$40||Shelters someone from the cold for one night.|
|$75||Provides a Christmas meal with all the fixins’ for a family of four.|
|$100||Provides an emergency food hamper for a family of four.|
|$250 - $300||Sponsors an individual for Addictions programming.|
|$250||Adopt a Family; provides Christmas gifts and a holiday meal for four family members.|
|$500||Provides a job skills training program for someone seeking to upgrade their skills and secure employment.|
|$1,000||Provides a warm and nutritious holiday meal for 250 people.|
It’s a fun run/walk open to all ages and abilities. Please register online and take advantage of our pre-race package pickup and donation drop off on November 30 and December 1 at the Running Room on Government Street (see package pickup tab). Festive holiday dressing is highly encouraged, although not mandatory. You’ll receive the 2017 Santa Shuffle finisher medal, a warm bowl of soup, a cup of hot chocolate, bells for your shoes and a shirt, if you ordered one. Hang on to your run bib, as you’ll need it to enter the draw prizes generously donated by our community partners.
